If you've ever volunteered, then you know how much of a hassle and nightmare it can be. United Way, being one of the leaders in the charity and volunteering space, has seen this time and time again. Enter United Way's Manage, a platform with one goal: to make creating and managing the many key parts of an event simple.
Stakeholder interviews
Through conversations with executive stakeholders and project managers, we gained a better understanding of how events were organized and managed. We learned that event planning involved more than creating an event; teams also needed to coordinate the vendors supporting each one. These insights shaped our design priorities, leading us to focus on simplifying event setup and connecting vendors directly to individual events within a unified management experience.
Outcome
Now United Way in Atlanta can rely on technology to help gather 90% of all information needed prior to running an event.
